The Future Bank rebuilds banking layer by layer: ledger and verification, identity and compliance, from the interface to money, and finally the core itself. Written by a banker who spent two decades inside the systems he argues should be rebuilt, and backed by a working prototype on a public test network, it is for supervisors, engineers, and anyone curious about how money moves. The frame was set down in 1494 by a Franciscan friar. The rewrite starts with whoever moves first.

The narrow claim the book makes can be checked rather than believed. A permanent, public, on-chain trace was left by the reference implementation; the verification page states plainly what it does and does not prove, and carries the running errata list for the text.
